DJ Ellis Dee
DJ Ellis Dee ® started DJing in Los Angeles in 1991, and comes from a cohort of analog rave DJs from the early 1990’s, with regular appearances at Zodiac Tribe, Keepin the Vibe, Oxygen, Power Toolz 106 fm and Groove Radio events. He has played at clubs & rave events all over North America, and is currently focused on creating streaming DJ mixes for his fans to enjoy. His current mixing style revolves around different sub-genres of House music, along with Breakbeats.
In his own words: “It is always my goal to take listeners on a spiritual journey, and tell a compelling story with each one of my DJ sets, to try and coax my audience into a natural flow state. I think very carefully about how a DJ set opens, how it flows through the body of a mix, and how it closes. There are hundreds of artists/producers and record labels that I actively follow and really admire, far too numerous to list here. I am so thankful for the vibrant global electronic music community, and also for the phenomenal music hardware/software, mixing/sampling, and mobile/internet technology that we have available today. What an exciting time to be alive and creating music!”
